The New Zealand Claims Resolution Service (NZCRS) provides free advice, case management where appropriate and access to legal, engineering and wellbeing support, tailored to your individual needs. If you want a case manager they will help you access the services you need to resolve your claim.
The NZCRS has partnered with Community Law Canterbury (CLC) to provide legal advice to homeowners nationally.
Engineering and technical advice
If you need an engineer to carry out a damage assessment or to review what your insurer has provided, the NZCRS has partnered with Engineering New Zealand to make the process easier.
Resolving disputes and claims
If you have a dispute that cannot be resolved by negotiations between you, your case manager and your insurer and/or Toka Tū Ake EQC, we can provide information about dispute resolution options.
